After a morning of ping pong at the Bayview Hill community center, we tried a relatively new spot — Mizhihua Restaurant 12260 Yonge Street.
The restaurant is clean, tidy, and comfortable. It’s not too busy yet, which makes for a relaxed dining experience. Service is calm and pleasant—no pressure, just a nice steady pace.
We ordered a simple lunch: stir-fried egg with beef, served with soup, rice, and tea with milk and sugar. The total came to about C$19, including tax and tip. In today’s market, that’s very reasonable. Good value, no complaints.
The location is also a plus—right at Yonge and Stouffville Road. Traffic is smooth, and it’s easy to get in and out.
One thought: this could be a great spot for afternoon tea when prices are even more favorable. I would definitely recommend it to friends looking for a simple, affordable, and comfortable place to eat.
